Simplon.co is a digital school that aims for a positive social impact. They provide courses in technical digital skills with the goal to enable those who struggle to access training and/or the job market to find a job or become an entrepreneur.
Since December 2021 I have been working with Simplon Marseille as an educator. I ran several training sessions spanning for a total of 60 people to help them acquire a State degree in digital advocacy and web development.
I also use the opportunity to expand the scope of their skills, to help them to develop their team work skills, critical thinking and their digital culture around topics like surveillance, cyber-security, digital arts, open source licensing and peer to peer technology / philosophy.
